This patient in her late 50s underwent a deep plane facelift with Dr. Steven Hanna. These are her photos at 6 months post surgery. We can see that her jowls and neck skin laxity have significantly improved, as has her cheek contour. Her appearance has not been changed, she looks refreshed. This case illustrates how facial aging is multifactorial; deep plane facelift surgery can use the underlying foundation of the face to make structural changes, but this patient would also benefit from additional treatments like Morpheuss8 or erbium laser resurfacing to help address her acne scarring and skin textural issues.
