Blepharoplasty Before & After Case 328

Before & After
Case Details
When I see patients in consultation for blepharoplasty surgery, I always examine for, and disclose that one eye is always more prominent than the other to our patients. It is normal to have an asymmetry to the face. After surgery, the architectural bony asymmetry will not change. Blepharoplasty surgery however will clean up the soft tissue around the eye. This beautiful professional patient of mine, who is in her mid 40s, is shown in the photograph below approximately four months following surgery. She underwent upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery with micro fat grafting to the upper cheeks. Please note that her left eye is more prominent than the right eye, and this is still present following surgery. During the most recent post operative visit, our patient noted that she recently returned from a trip visiting family abroad. No one suspected that she had surgery. She was complimented by how good she looked by her family members. This put a smile on her face when she described her recent trip back home. I agree, she does look great!
