Blepharoplasty Before & After Case 326

This incredible patient of mine who is in his late 40s underwent lower blepharoplasty surgery.  The photographs below were taken 6 months following his procedure.  For the surgeons, the following was performed:  lateral subcilliary incision, release of orbital retaining ligament, fat transposition into upper midface, orbicularis oculi muscle sling, canthopexy, conservative skin excision and microfatgrafting to the upper cheeks.  The muscle sling is important in preserving eyelid shape.  Fat transposition and microfatgrating allows for a natural blending of the lower eyelid cheek junction.  This procedure without a doubt has improved the quality of life for our patient.
